"Well, what if there is no tomorrow? There wasn't one today." ~Phil | A throwback to the 90's! As requested by someone, Nicholas and I did a co-writing post on the movie Groundhog Day! Movie Summary: Phil Connors, a weather man is annoyed when he was assigned the job of covering the annual Groundhog festivities in the small town of Punxsutawney, making this his fourth in a row. When Phil woke up the next day, he ends up reliving the same day (Groundhog Day) over, and over, and over again when the clock ticks at 6:00 am. He was unable to leave the town due to a severe blizzard. First he uses this for his advantage, then he started to realize that he has to spend the rest of his life in the same place, seeing the same people do the same thing everyday. He met a girl name Rita, a girl that he's trying to impress everyday during Groundhog day. He is given opportunity after opportunity to get the day "right". |
I think that the graphic quality of this movie is pretty good for a 90's movie. The humor added to this movie is hilarious. I think they did a pretty good job repeating almost every scene over and over again then adding new ones after. Bill Murray did an excellent performance in this movie. The ending is very satisfying and its great that Phil Connors learned something from this experience.
Nicholas's View:
I think that when the guy who talks to the groundhog was crazy! There was also the fact that the news reporter started to realize how people in the town are affected by that one day and how the day kept on deleting its self! The idea of relying on a little rodent was very weird and awkward. We would like to give our condolences to the director of the movie, Harold Ramis!
